1. Who is responsible
The Survivor System LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware, United States, operates survivorsystem.com and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy ("we", "us").
2. What we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number, the products you ordered and the amount paid.
- Payment: payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and the last digits of the card or the payment method used. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: what you send us by email or WhatsApp, including photos of a damaged parcel or a return request.
- Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider records your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the time of the request, as every web server does. We use this for security and to keep the site running.
- Language preference: if you switch the site between English and Arabic, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the site opens in the same language next time. It is not sent to us.
We do not collect special categories of personal data and we do not need any to fulfil an order.
3. How we use it
- To take payment, pack and deliver your order, send you the dispatch and tracking emails and handle returns and refunds.
- To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order.
- To keep accounting and tax records that the law requires us to keep.
- To detect and prevent fraud and to protect the site.
- To send you marketing emails or messages only if you have asked for them. Every marketing message includes a way to stop receiving them.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the contract with you (to fulfil your order), our legal obligations (records), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, customer service) and your consent (marketing).
4. Who we share it with
- Payment providers, to process your payment.
- Couriers and our fulfilment partner, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel and to send you delivery updates by SMS or WhatsApp.
- Hosting and email providers, which store the site and our email on our behalf.
- Authorities and advisers, where the law requires it or to defend our legal rights.
Each of these providers may only use your data to provide its service to us. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. Where it is processed
We are a United States company and our providers operate in the United States, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. Your data may therefore be stored or processed outside the country in which you live. Where the law requires it, we put contractual protections in place with our providers.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records, normally up to 7 years after the order.
- Support messages: up to 2 years after the matter is closed.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
- Server logs: typically 30 days or less, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
7. Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser's local storage only to remember your language choice. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and traffic management. Our payment provider sets cookies on its own checkout pages under its own policy. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled only by our payment provider on its secure pages. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders and answer your questions. No system is completely secure, so if you believe your data has been misused, tell us immediately.
10. Children
The site and the product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version was published. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will say so on the site.
